Konecranes has received the first CXT Explorer order from Johnson Arabia LLC in Dubai to deliver one unit with two containers

However, both parties have agreed not to disclose the value of the order.

Johnson Arabia is a mobile crane hire company based in UAE, which offers cost-efficient and versatile lift engineering solutions to several different industries like petrochemical, civil engineering, construction, industrial and aviation.

?We are delighted to receive the first CXT Explorer order from Johnson Arabia LLC,? said Ajit Kumar, sales director, Industrial Cranes, Konecranes Middle East. ?The CXT Explorer is our latest product category, which brings the quality and safety of lifting from the factory building to remote site conditions.?

The core of the CXT Explorer is its patented design: it can be assembled, ready to lift, in just a few hours. With a lifting height of five metres and a span of five metres, there is plenty of room for most field lifting needs. Johnson Arabia will use CXT Explorer on major sites as a mobile workshop where they deploy large numbers of cranes and AWP?s to assist in quick turnaround repairs that in the past could have meant the equipment being removed from site and being returned to main yards.

Johnson Arabia, who is renting mobile cranes and aerial work platforms, was looking for a temporary but reliable lifting solution. They also considered the option to install an overhead travelling crane or a jib crane for the maintenance purposes, but they chose the CXT Explorer, as it is strong, yet movable. Management at Johnson Arabia stated that they believe that this option will give them advantages to optimise uptime of the equipment that will in turn give greater customer satisfaction.
