The Big 5 show opens in Dubai

More than 2,500 exhibitors from 70 countries are taking part in the mega expo, which will run till November 24 at the Dubai International Conference & Exhibition Centre.

This increasing importance of knowledge share across a number of sectors has also generated the creation of more than 130 free-to-attend seminars.
Green Build Congress
The Green Build Congress forms another major highlight of the Big 5 2011. This new initiative will see some of the global experts and other key players in the industry discussing sustainability in the built environment, best practice and solutions for the future.
Returning to this year’s event is the Gaia Awards, which has grown to become a highly acclaimed recognition for those companies investing in the development and promotion of products, which aim to reduce the effects of damage to the environment caused in construction. The Gaia Award winners will be announced during The Green Build Congress on 22 November.
