Showcasing its new products, UK-based Balmoral Tanks introduced its hot press GRP and steel sectional tanks along with its cylindrical steel tanks. These tanks are all now fully Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) approved for the storage of sprinkler system water storage on a global basis.
Meanwhile, Avant Flooring, a high quality composite laminate, officially launched its presence in the Middle East at the event. The flooring, constructed of tongue and groove panels, is unique in its composition. Researched and developed in Germany, the flooring is waterproof and durable as well as UV- and fire-resistant.
Mapei unveiled its new range of chemical anchors, including the Mapefix PE SF, intended for light loads, and the Mapefix VE SF, suitable for heavy loads.
The show floor was also host to a number of live demonstrations. Roll Roy UK demonstrated its TeleTower, a compact aluminium scaffold tower which can be erected in three minutes. Emerson’s subsidiary, Ridge Tool Co, showcased the RE – 60 60kN Electrical Tool, while Silk Plaster demonstrated a grade material wall covering used in civil and industrial construction for finishing and decorating walls and ceilings.
