Himoinsa launched a revolutionary new generator set during the opening day of Middle East Electricity

The 500 kW Power Cube HPCW 510 generator is 50 per cent shorter in body length than conventional 500 kW generators.

?Cube is a super silent genset that fits into a 10-foot square container,? said Guillermo Elum, Himoinsa?s Sales & Marketing Department Director.

?So with this system we can reduce the dimensions compared with a standard genset unit by more than 35 per cent.

?It?s a product we?ve developed thinking about logistics and we have developed by listening to our customers.

"We can work in Alaska with this product and we can work here in the desert because we have developed a special cooling system.?

Shortlisted for the ?Best Product Launch at Middle East Electricity 2014? exhibitor award, Power Cubes also have a connection system that enables up to 32 units to be connected in parallel to generate up to 16 MW.

Terry McGuire, General Manager of FAMCO?s Power & Industrial Products Division, an Al-Futtaim Group company and Himoinsa?s exclusive distributor in the UAE, added, ?The reaction at Middle East Electricity has been very good. We?ve had lots of people very interested in it. It?s a very good, compact and unique machine.?
