Canadian printer manufacturer Tinkerine Studios Ltd has entered a distribution agreement with UAE’s 3D printing company Precise Group to offer the region’s customers a complete 3D printing bundle
The bundle includes Tinkerine’s Ditto Pro 3D printer and software, high purity filament as well as online training and educational content through Tinkerine U.
Precise group president Lothar Hohmann said, “Our goal is to be the one-stop shop for 3D printing and services in the Middle East region, as we cater to different segments of the market. I strongly believe that our partnership will allow us to grow into the educational sector with Tinkerine, with the STEAM-based Tinkerine U platform and the award winning Tinkerine Ditto Pro 3D printer. We will be providing technical support and service in our region to complement Tinkerine’s offerings through our dedicated online platform specialising in 3D printing and solutions, The3DBee.com.”
Tinkerine CEO Eugene Suyu added, “We continue to penetrate strategic markets and win new customers. Educators globally are demanding STEAM-based educational content to support the next generation of learners, engineers, and designers. Tinkerine U is the global platform to deliver this content to virtually anyone in the world.”
Precise Group’s online platform The 3DBee.com particularly specialises in 3D printing solutions by offering a higher quality 3D printing experience than its competitors, stated company officials. In addition, the company distributes to 100 direct retail stores across the Middle East, and plans to add another 60 by the end of 2015.
Precise Group was one of the earliest to adapt 3D printing technology in the Middle East, and serves as an exclusive distributor of 3D products from companies such as 3Doodler, Ultimaker, XYZPrinting apart from Tinkerine.
