Gulf Air wins three IT awards

The national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Gulf Air, took home 3 awards for its Information Technology achievements

 

Gulf Air, Bahrain's national carrier, has won three awards at the Aviation Business Awards 2016, the seventh annual Computer News Middle East (CNME) ICT Achievement Awards, and Global Enterprise Connect Awards. 

The Kingdom of Bahrain's air carrier won for its achievements for Technology Innovation of the Year, Hospitality and Tourism Deployment of the Year and Best Airline in Technology - Middle East respectively.

All the awards were accepted by Dr Jassim Haji, Gulf Air director of Information technology. Maher Salman Al Musallam, Gulf Air's chief executive officer, has said, "Gulf Air?s IT achievements are many and I am delighted to see them recognized yet again. Information Technology is a critical aspect of any airline and, at Gulf Air, our IT department continually strives for innovation while remaining on the cusp of latest developments. By continuously improving our IT services we are ensuring a more efficient organization and a more seamless offering to our passengers, essential in today?s fast paced digital world.?
