New control units for gas gensets

HIMOINSA has developed control units for gas-powered generator sets

The new controllers have been programmed with a special start-up and stop sequence to ensure enhanced installation safety.

Drawing on more than two decades of experience in designing and manufacturing advanced control systems for generator sets, HIMOINSA is incorporating these new control units, specially designed for gas-powered generators to ensure maximum safety.

The new CEM7-G, CEA7-G and CEP7-G controllers include gas train management that controls all gas train safety systems and incorporates an alarm to warn when fuel pressure is insufficient. During start-up the control units also carry out a safety check of the gas train, checking the tightness of the solenoid valve and indicating this by means of a light signal.

? CEM7-G makes it possible to monitor how the gas engine is running and the quality of the electric signal generated with a very intuitive interface.

? CEA7-G checks the gas generator and switching with the grid in the event of grid failure.

? CEP7-G, a control unit, is designed for parallel applications to enable load management between gas-powered generator sets.

?The new gas control units offer the well-known advantages of HIMOINSA control units, such as ease of use, power and durability, but also make the most of gas generation technology, as well as providing the necessary extra safety that our clients demand,? explained Manuel Aguilera, gas product manager at HIMOINSA.
