Imdaad wins US$1.63mn contract from Emirates Post Group

Imdaad, a leading integrated facilities management (FM) company based in Dubai, has signed a one-year contract worth US$1.63mn with Emirates Post Group (EPG) and as per the deal, the former will provide its integrated FM services in EPG?s branches throughout the UAE

The services include maintenance of buildings and related facilities, encompassing civil works, electrical, energy management and providing smart solutions to HVAC appliances and other mechanical operations.

Jamal Abdulla Lootah, Group CEO of Imdaad, said, ?We pride ourselves on our continuous innovation and energy management solutions. With this in mind, we intend to connect our Network Operations Centre (Imtedaad) in Jebel Ali to implement energy conservation measures in EPG?s Um Ramool building.?

According to him, the contract will start on 15 June and involve the mobilisation of more than 70 staff from Imdaad.

?Preventative, including regular maintenance improves the reliability, efficiency, lifespan and operating costs of HVAC and MEP, saving companies considerable amounts of money. It also encourages a more responsible attitude towards energy management, reducing carbon emissions as well as potential water leaks, which ultimately lower utility bills,? Lootah said.

?It was vital for us to partner with a trusted FM company with a proven track record, not only in integrated facilities management, but also in energy management. We selected Imdaad because we want our customers to be happy when they see our facilities at EPG,? he added.

Established in 2007, Imdaad has enjoyed significant success across the FM sector. It has entered into a three-year agreement with Emarat, a petroleum product supplier in the UAE, to deliver sustainable and integrated waste collection services. Imdaad has also signed a US$1.09mn deal to deliver integrated FM services for Dubai Maritime City MBC Building.

Imdaad?s strategic approach to provide sustainability in FM sector is projected to comply with the Dubai Plan 2021 to ensure Dubai is a smart and sustainable city.
