Future Projects Forum presents US$133bn construction projects in Saudi Arabia

Construction projects worth more than US$133bn in Saudi Arabia have been presented to the contractors at Future Projects Forum (FPF) in Riyadh, held from 26-27 February 2019

Organised by Saudi Contractors Authority, the two-day summit was aimed at creating a platform to bring together investors, project owners and contractors to showcase and discuss the future projects in Saudi Arabia?s contraction sector.

Being one of the leading construction forums in the Middle East, FPF covered the latest construction, development and opportunities.

As reported in the Arab News, Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, governor of Riyadh region, lauded the forum and its initiative to promote an integrated approach to achieve strong growth in Saudi Arabia's construction market, driving its economic growth.

In line with Saudi Vision 2030, FPF provided a platform for the project owners to

? Show their projects and increase the number of contractors applying for their tenders

? Know the plans and directions of the projects for the coming period

? See projects opportunities by several parties and interact with the owners of the project

During the two-day forum, industry experts took part in the presentation for the sector?s growth and opportunities, including Saudi Aramco, Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC), Ministry of Defense-Directorate of Military Works, Jabal Omar Development Company, Al Qiddiya Investment Company, Saudi Railway Company (SAR), Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma?aden), The Red Sea Development Company, National Water Company and others.
