Dubai Cranes to work with UK crane manufacturer

Dubai Cranes and Technical Services Ltd, a subsidiary of Dubai Investments has partnered with Street Crane to leverage the growing demand and undertake more complex infrastructure projects in the region

Through this partnership, Dubai Cranes will have access to Street Crane?s key components and technology that will enable it to produce higher capacity cranes. Dubai Cranes will now be able to locally fabricate crane beams, gantries and other structural crane parts up to 300-tonne capacity. Components including hoists, controls, carriages and electrical equipment will be built and supplied for the Middle East markets by Street Crane in the UK.

Andrew Kay, General Manager, Dubai Cranes, said: ?Industrial development in the UAE is creating huge demand for high specification and customized industrial cranes. The partnership with Street Crane will help us serve the local market more effectively and meet the growing demand for our products.?

Dubai Cranes? offerings cover a holistic range of products and services including initial survey and evaluation of handling requirements, design and installation of cranes, and after sales support and service of equipment throughout its operational life.
