Tech-driven and sustainable trends take centre stage at FM Expo

FM Expo 25FM Expo, which is currently running at Dubai World Trade Centre from 23-25 September 2018, provides a range of facilities management (FM) solutions for varieties of industries

Professionals from across the diverse FM disciplines have gathered, thus enhancing their professional knowledge and networking with their peers.

The event provides opportunities to connect with industry peers, experts, vendors and understand the competitive landscape. The nature of this event lends itself to facilitating meetings between businesses to help them get in touch with visitors and showcase their full range of services and solutions.

The expo has featured a wide range of educational and engaging conference, talks and workshops that will reveal dominant trends, stimulate the exchange of ideas and address major issues within the sector. It further includes the Waste & Recycling Summit, CPD certified workshops, interactive seminars and industry report giveaways; especially designed for attending companies and their clients to enhance their understanding of the industry.

“There are over 70 exhibitors representing 11 countries at FM Expo this year, with exhibitors joining the event from Spain, China, Germany, Finland, Italy, Netherlands, U.K., India, France, USA and UAE,” said Nathan Waugh, portfolio director, dmg events.

Jamal Lootah, Group CEO of Imdaad, said, “Emerging technologies continue to disrupt the facilities management industry, bringing about changes across every aspect of the business. The digital transformation has enabled facilities managers to identify customers’ pain points more efficiently and offer sustainable and cost-effective solutions to address their real challenges.”

“The current waste management practices are not sustainable and people in the region have started to realize that a long-term framework through education, regulations, policies and integrated waste management is undeniably needed,” Maria Saba, Operation Manager, from exhibitor SOZO Consultants, commented.
