Saudi Telecom Company and LinkedIn sign agreement

Saudi Telecom Company (STC) has signed a new agreement with LinkedIn in a bid to improve the company?s marketing and recruitment efforts

According to the agreement, STC would utilise LinkedIn to increase followers on the platform and foster interaction with a larger audience and direct traffic to the STC website. Over 8,500 STC staff members have joined LinkedIn and STC?s LinkedIn page has over 61,000 followers.

Amjad Shacker, general manager of corporate communication at STC, said, ?Significant advances in the development of the digital world and exponential usage of computers and smartphones has successfully increased and multiplied STC?s social media presence.?

Shacker said that through the partnership, the enhanced marketing plan would effectively reach a new segment of clients.
