Qtel Data Centre expansion programme complete

Qtel has completed its expansion programme for 2011 which has resulted in Qtel Data Centre receiving a major upgrade.

The upgrade process started in 2010 and resulted in Qtel Data Centre capacity increasing by 300 per cent. The reason behind the upgrade was that a number of Qatar's leading companies, from the aviation, industry, financial and real estate sectors, requested additional capacity to support their projected business growth.

With the upgrade process complete, the Qtel Data Centre now delivers comprehensive support for the full range of business IT infrastructure needs, from the transmission process to application provision, including advanced monitoring, backup and storage solutions and disaster recovery.

Qtel Data Centre provides the deployment of fundamental components such as power, cooling, and networking systems.
