Hira Walraven opens US$5.45mn facility in Dubai

Hira Industries LLC and the Netherlands-based Walraven Group have opened a new facility called Hira Walraven at National Industries Park (NIP) in Dubai

Valued at US$5.45mn, the new facility will be easily accessible to Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and is located in close proximity to the Al Maktoum International Airport and the Expo 2020 site.

With an aim to provide better storage and manufacturing services across the UAE, the facility has been designed to meet the green building norms, complaint with ISO 9001: 2015, whereas the factories are ISO 14001:2015 and OHSAS 18001:2007 compliant.

The facility is spread across an area of 6,500 sq m and according to Hira, an area of 10,000 sq m is also available for future expansion.

The new facility will be a central distribution warehouse, with a factory to manufacture products as pipe support clamps, support channels and rubber support inserts.

One of the highlights on offer at the facility is the competence centre and the training room. Customers and employees will be able to see replicated installations of site using the complete product range.

Besides this facility, Hira Walraven has technical offices across the Middle East region, Indian subcontinent, Africa and South East Asia. As part of its expansion strategy, Hira Industries LLC plans to expand the new facility for fixing systems outside the GCC countries and add new products to its list catering to local taste.
