Mohebi Logistics to build storage facility at DWC

Global supply chain company Mohebi Logistics has broken ground on its new US$150mn facility at Dubai World Central (DWC)

The new facility will be constructed on land spanning 260,000 sqm, will encompass the Zainal Mohebi Holdings corporate office and have a storage capacity of around 180,000 pallet positions ? more than double the capacity of the company's storage and logistics, said company officials.

Mohebi Logistics and Zainab Mohebi Holdings CEO Mohammed Mohebi, said, ?To stay innovative, you must be willing to constantly re-evaluate how well you work with your business partners. We are proud and excited to become a strategic partner of DWC and a key contributor to Dubai?s continued economic growth. Dubai World Central will play a critical role in showcasing both Emirati talent and corporate capabilities, which in my opinion is crucial in serving our national interests.?

The centre is scheduled for completion by end 2016, added Mohebi officials.
