Al Zayani, KPMG and PwC shortlisted for Bahrain metro project

metro 4005888 640Bahrain’s Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunication has shortlisted Al Zayani Engineering, KPMG and Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC) Middle East to provide advisory on the construction of Phase 1 of Bahrain Metro

As notified in the country’s Tender Board, out of the total eight bids, the Ministry suspended Deloitte, Gulf International Bank, Lazard Freres, Parsons Global Services and Ernst & Young.

The bids were called for to provide financial, technical and legal consultancy services for phase 1 of the metro project in February 2019.

The project is co-developed by Bahrain’s Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning. Phase 1 comprises 30km of elevated track and 20 stations, one of which is set to link to Bahrain International Airport (BAH).
