LOESCHE to supply two grinding mills for cement line in KSA

LOESCHE will provide two vertical roller grinding mills of Type LM 63.3+3 with a table diameter of 6.3 metres and a main drive size of 7,400kW for a new brownfield cement line in Rabigh, Saudi Arabia

Arabian Cement Company (ACC) will build the plant with a clinker production capacity of 10,000 tonne per day (tpd).

In order to increase the cement grinding capacities in Phase1, prior to the completion of the new line, that is Phase2, ACC has placed an order with China National Building Materials Group Corporation (CNBM) for a cement grinding plant that includes the two grinding mills.

According to ACC, the project will be completed in 13 months.

LOESCHE will also provide all process related equipment like process filters, process fans and hot gas generators as well as the complete basic engineering of the grinding plant to ensure a state-of-the-art plant design.
